On January 28, 2012 Swanand Yoga opened its doors to fifty close family and friends for a traditional “Pūjā” celebration. In Hinduism, “Pūjā” is a symbolic offering as a mark of devotion and surrender. It is also performed to bring a good omen for a new beginning. The two-hour event included an abundance of love, prayers, mantra chanting, and food, as catered by the founders’ daughter. An unexpected bright ray of sunlight flooded the studio and marked the end of this beautiful afternoon.
